FROM LIONS TO LIONESSES

Billingham Juniors are extremely proud to announce that Millie Burdon and Macie-Mae Halsall from our U15 Lions squad have been called up to the U15 England Lionesses squad.

Mille and Macie were selected for Cleveland County under16's girls, a fantastic achievement in itself, and from this were the two of the 6 Girls put forward for the Trials for the England Schools U15 squad.

After two trials at Cochrane Park Newcastle on Sunday 09th October and Sunday 12th November, where Girls who were put forward from the Midlands counties to Northumberland & Cumbrian counties trailed, to the final trial at Castle Vale stadium Birmingham.

Both were selected for the final squad to play in the Bob Docherty Tournament against Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland next year.

Great Achievement as over 200 girls initial trialled for the squad. Well done, Millie and well done Macie from all at Billingham Juniors
