Billingham Juniors' school links programme

Our Autumn school Links programme came to and end this week after 6 weeks.

Thanks to Mrs Flaherty Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy, Billingham and Mrs Birrell St Joseph's Catholic Primary School and their teachers for giving us the opportunity.

53 children took part one hour a week for 6 weeks, learning teamwork, friendship football and motor skills.

A comment from the teachers said

" The coaches have been exceptionally enthusiastic, patient and encouraging throughout the sessions, creating a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel supported and motivated to participate. Their ability to build strong relationships with the children has helped to develop confidence, teamwork and a positive attitude towards physical activity. The children look forward to each session and engage with great enthusiasm, demonstrating how much they enjoy the activities and value the coaches' support. The coaches consistently adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child experiences success and feels included. Their energy, professionalism and commitment have had a very positive impact on the children's enjoyment, participation and overall experience.."

We look forward to working with the schools again in the Spring/Summer and the other schools we are talking to.
